Professional Development FAQ's

Is this clinical supervision?

Not currently - I'm a Professional Member of ANZACATA working toward my Supervision qualification. What I offer now is consultation and professional development: practical, experience-led sessions on delivering art therapy and creative modalities online. If you're specifically seeking a registered supervisor, I'm happy to point you toward one while I complete this qualification.

What's the difference between consultation and professional development sessions?

Consultation is case- or format-specific - bring a particular client, group, or challenge you're working through. Professional development sessions are more structured, focused on building a specific skill (e.g. adapting a technique for online delivery, running engaged online groups).

Who is this for?

Art therapists and allied health professionals - particularly those newer to online delivery, or working with NDIS clients online and wanting practical, tested approaches rather than theory.

Are sessions one-off or ongoing?

Either. Some people book a single session around a specific challenge; others set up an ongoing regular arrangement.

Do sessions count toward CPD?

These sessions aren't formal supervision hours. I'm a Professional Member of ANZACATA currently working toward my Supervision qualification, so what I offer now is consultation and professional development rather than accredited supervision. Many professional bodies do allow peer consultation and PD activities to be self-logged as CPD, so you're welcome to include our sessions in your own record- I'd just recommend checking your specific requirements with your registering body to confirm.

How much do sessions cost, and how do I book?

Sessions run for 50mins and $100per hour - these are booked via enquiry rather than instant online booking, send a message and I'll reply directly to find a time.
